A Taste of Haddonfield

Haddonfield has been chosen by Philadelphia Magazine as one of the best places to live, shop and dine in the Delaware Valley. Whether you’re from out of town or a local, Haddonfield has something for everyone.

On this journey, sample tasty dishes of Haddonfield as you walk through the beautiful colonial streets of downtown. You’ll have the opportunity to sample food from across the globe, starting with Great Britain, Thai and then off to the Mediterranean. Sample a traditional Welsh dish and then try a plate with a fusion of both British and American flavors at the British Chip Shop. Fresh, hand-made assortment of Greek food is available at The Bistro at Haddonfield. We’ll head a few doors down for a taste of Thai (Sundays) at Sanook and then work our way to tasty Italian comfort food (Saturdays).

We'll make sure you stop by the Haddonfield Farmer's Market starting Saturdays in May 2017.
Quench your thirst with 100% natural fresh juices (Sundays).

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Tours are non-refundable. Tours will take place rain or shine. Should there be inclement weather (e.g., thunderstorm, heavy snow, hurricane) then a tour may be cancelled. You will be notified in advance of the cancellation and will be given the opportunity to reschedule for another date or receive a refund.

What should I bring on a tour?

Since there will be lots of walking and standing, comfortable shoes are recommended. Bring layers of clothing should the outdoor temperature fluctuate. You are welcome to bring a camera to capture fun moments. We encourage you to post your favorite photos to our Facebook and Twitter accounts and use hashtag #OnTheTownFoodTours. Video cameras are not allowed.

What about dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, etc.) or food allergies?

If you or anyone joining you has a dietary restriction or food allergy, please contact us upon the purchase of your tickets. If you let us know in advance, we will do our best to accommodate those needs by modifying the food samplings. Not all samples can be substituted with an alternative, therefore we cannot guarantee that a substitution can be made for the tastings.

How much food do we eat on the food tours?

We will visit at least five establishments. For some guests, it is enough to feel full but not for all. Please remember that this is a tasting journey, not a full meal.

May I bring my children on the tour?

Children are welcome on the tour. Please remember that there is a lot of walking, standing and listening involved. There is quite a bit of information provided about the food.
